Newark Restaurant Week 2022 is being held from September 11th thru September 17th
With “Seven Days of Deals,” Newark Restaurant Week serves as an opportunity to support local businesses, try new restaurants, and savor old favorites. This event seeks to attract visitors from the greater Newark area to encourage economic activity and growth.
“Newark’s local businesses, especially restaurants, faced an extremely tough few years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Newark Restaurant Week energizes our city,” said City of Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka. “It brings residents and visitors alike together to enjoy our many different cuisines. It empowers our economy, and adds to our luster as a tourist destination. It also showcases our diversity and creativity. I thank our partners for collaborating to create this enjoyable week.”
“Helping small and local businesses is one of our main priorities and the very reason why Newark Restaurant Week is so important to the Newark community,” said Marcus Randolph, President and CEO of Invest Newark. “Newark has so many amazing dining options to offer and I encourage everyone to participate this year and support a local restaurateur and the people they employ.”
This is the second year Invest Newark is hosting Newark Restaurant Week and it will provide something for everyone. Participating restaurants include: Madre & Son, Magic Cones and Blueberry Vegan, and new participating restaurants are being added daily.
