Brand New: Sushi Island, Northvale, NJ
Keeping track of the sushi restaurant on Livingston Street in the Northvale Square has been quite a challenge. Till February of 2012 it was named Bamboo. Then new ownership took it over, made it all you can eat and still called it sushi. They closed last December only to re-open as a la carte sushi again as… Bamboo. Sometime before July they closed again to finally re-open as Sushi Island.
The interior is pretty much identical to before including furnishings, layout and every other major thing of significance that one would notice in the dining room and by the sushi bar.

The menu is seemingly like most sushi restaurants in North Jersey. An array of hot and cold apps, a few Japanese and Korean entrees and a large selection of sushi and roll specials. In fact Sushi Island has quite a large selection of Signature Rolls priced between $13 and $15.
