The restaurant known as Hamsa is no longer around, but Tavlin has opened to take its place. The restaurant will be serving a similar sounding “Kosher Mediterranean” menu. Expect early closings on Fridays and during the day on Saturdays.

The same is very similar to what it was before. Very little seems to have changed (though it might be more than meets the eye), but there has been some tweaks to the decor, lighting and serve ware. We imagine this will keep the Hamsa faithful happy. The website event has functionality for online ordering, which should keep those who dislike calling happy as well.

Much of the menu will seem familiar to Hamsa regulars. A dinner menu was unavailable (as they just opened yesterday), but the lunch choices feature mezze, salads, hummus bowls and sandwiches/wraps for lunch.
