I went to Fink’s last night. Got the texas lollipops as appetizer – they were pretty tasty, but left me wanting for more for $9. Had the pit sampler for dinner ($19), spare ribs, pulled pork and “chopped meat” – spare ribs were delicious, meaty, fell off the bone. The pulled pork was pretty good, could have used a bit more sauce (none on the table). the chopped meat was ok.
tried the garlicky beans side – needed more flavor – added some hot sauce, better, but wouldnt order them again. My son had the kids chicken fingers and fries (they have a kids menu btw), fries were nice and salty, he finished his fingers so i couldnt comment on them.
service was good, plenty of specialty beer choices. I think that one side (or cornbread or something) should come with the entrees, instead of three pickle slices.
all in all, pretty good, but Baileys still rules – if I was in the area wouldnt hesitate to eat at Finks, but wouldnt make a special trip there.
