A Ridgewood restaurant has reopened with a new name and menu focused on smash burgers, fried chicken and more.

Pepe’s Chicken is now open at 22 Oak Street, taking over the space previously occupied by Dosa House.

The restaurant recently announced its reopening on social media, introducing a casual dining concept specializing in smash burgers, crispy chicken, wings, platters and gyros.

According to its website, Pepe’s Chicken emphasizes made-to-order burgers and fried chicken, with a selection of signature smash burgers featuring different toppings, sauces and combinations.

The menu also includes chicken tikka, lamb gyro, mixed platters and falafel, offering additional options beyond the restaurant’s burgers and chicken specialties.

The business has also promoted the concept with the phrase “From the UK to the USA,” highlighting its British inspiration.
