A Canadian fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant is coming soon to Bergen County.

Tahini’s Mediterranean has signed a lease for a 1,694-square-foot restaurant at Lodi Commons in Lodi, according to property owner Urban Edge Properties.

The concept specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine, with a focus on fresh, fast-casual dishes including salads and other Mediterranean specialties.

Based in Ontario, Canada, Tahini’s is currently expanding its footprint in the United States, with the upcoming Lodi restaurant continuing the brand’s growth into New Jersey.

The addition of Tahini’s also brings Lodi Commons to 100% leased, according to Urban Edge. The neighborhood shopping center is anchored by Dollar Tree and Burger King, with Advance Auto Parts also preparing to open.

An opening date for Tahini’s has not yet been announced.
