A new bakery dedicated entirely to gluten-free treats is coming soon to Bergen County.

Poppy is preparing to open at 26 Chestnut Street in Ridgewood.

The bakery is billing itself as a dedicated gluten-free bakery, adding a new option for those seeking baked goods made without gluten.

Poppy will take over the space formerly occupied by Treat Me Sweet, a cookie shop that previously operated at the Chestnut Street address.

Additional details about Poppy’s team and menu have not yet been announced, including what types of breads, pastries, desserts or other baked goods will be offered.
