Christo’s Wake & Steak has opened its second location, bringing the cheesesteak shop to Bergen County.

The restaurant is now open at 252 Main Street in Ridgefield Park, taking over the space previously occupied by Bob-O’s Cheesesteaks.

Christo’s Wake & Steak first opened in Bloomfield in 2024 and has since gained a following for its cheesesteaks made with ribeye sliced in-house.

Guests can choose between Cooper Sharp for its “new school” cheesesteak or Whiz for an “old school” version.

The menu also includes sandwiches such as chopped cheese, Buffalo chicken and chipotle chicken, along with other casual offerings.

The Ridgefield Park opening marks the brand’s first location in Bergen County and its second in New Jersey.
