A Bergen County burger shop has taken the No. 1 spot on NJ.com’s latest ranking of the best burgers in New Jersey.

The 130 Shop in Tenafly was named the state’s best burger destination in the publication’s 2026 update, which ranked 51 burgers from restaurants across New Jersey.

The casual concept is a spin-off of The 130 Club, with a more laid-back format built around several of the restaurant group’s popular dishes.

According to NJ.com, the winning 130 cheeseburger is made with two thin patties of Certified Angus Beef topped with American cheese, pickles, onions and dijonnaise on a brioche bun.

The publication particularly highlighted the finely chopped pickles and onions, noting how the combination adds a briny, slightly crunchy element to the burger.

The 130 Shop ultimately landed at No. 1 on the statewide list, earning the title of New Jersey’s best burger for 2026 from NJ.com.
