All-You-Can-Eat Wagyu Concept Is Coming to North Jersey
A new wagyu-focused dining concept is preparing to open at American Dream.
Wagyu House is coming soon to the East Rutherford mega-mall, adding an upscale, experience-driven restaurant to the property’s growing lineup. The concept is already operating in cities like Chicago and Atlanta, with additional locations in development for Houston and Seattle.
The restaurant specializes in all-you-can-eat yakiniku and shabu-shabu, centered around premium wagyu beef. Offerings are expected to include American and Australian full-blood wagyu, as well as highly sought-after Japanese A5 wagyu—positioning the concept as a more indulgent, high-end dining experience.
According to the brand, much of its beef is sourced directly from Masami Ranch, allowing for greater control over quality, marbling, and flavor. The menu is designed to highlight these ingredients through interactive, table-centered dining formats that emphasize both cooking and experience.
Each location is also built with a strong focus on atmosphere, with spaces designed to feel immersive and celebratory. Existing locations feature elements like rooftop dining and interactive cooking experiences, suggesting the New Jersey outpost could follow a similarly elevated design approach.
Wagyu House is part of Chubby Group, a U.S.-based hospitality company focused on developing premium dining concepts centered around high-quality ingredients and modern culinary experiences.
Once open, the addition will further expand American Dream’s push toward destination-style dining, blending luxury ingredients with experiential formats.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
