Bear Donut, a New York City-based donut shop known for its “creative and vibrant flavors,” is preparing to open a new location in Englewood at 55 North Dean Street.

This appears to be the brand’s first New Jersey storefront, expanding its reach beyond its Manhattan roots.

Bear Donut specializes in two main offerings: cream-filled brioche donuts (referred to as brionuts) and chewy, rice flour-based mochi donuts, all of which are “freshly made every day.”

According to the company’s website, rotating mochi donut flavors include coffee, lavender, and pistachio, while brionut varieties include strawberry matcha, milk tea, and scallion cream cheese.

The shop will also likely serve coffee and ice cream.

No official opening date has been announced.
