Cooper’s Tavern is Coming Soon to Sloatsburg

An Irish gastropub concept is on its way to Sloatsburg with the upcoming arrival of Cooper’s Tavern.

The new establishment will be situated at 40 Orange Turnpike, occupying the former Rhodes Tavern space — located near Harriman State Park, the space has long served as a rest stop for travelers through the area.

The restaurant is a collaborative effort between Hearth & Tap (Montvale) and The Craftsman (Fair Lawn), spanning 6,000 square feet, which will include seating for 300 people, divided into both indoor and outdoor areas.

A menu will offer a range of dishes across lunch, dinner, late-night pub food, and weekend brunch.

Additionally, they’ll have a curated selection of craft beers, craft cocktails, and an Irish whiskey collection.

Guests can expect takeout, delivery and the ability to host private events.

Ownership has over 40 years of experience in the restaurant, bar, and nightlife industry across NYC and New Jersey.

Construction is expected to begin soon, with a projected opening in summer 2025.
