Carlitos Tequileria is coming soon to Palisades Center in West Nyack.

It’s being shared as a “full-service restaurant concept”.

From the team behind Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria (Website) — which has local locations in Paramus (Garden State Plaza), Jersey City and Newark Airport.

Expect their “famous smoked meats”, “hand-pressed nixtamal tortillas”, and a “new menu of craft margaritas and tequila cocktails”.

The core of the menu at Carlitos Tequileria is found in the selection of Tacos and Quesatacos. Fan favorite proteins such as Oak-Smoked Sliced Brisket and Crispy Fish are offered, but at Tequileria, the brisket is accompanied by pickled red onion, cilantro macho, salsamacha, avocado salsa and lime, as is the new Chicharron taco, served on a blue tortilla (the masa hand-pressed to order).

At Tequileria’s bar, agave reigns supreme, with modern methods and deep-rooted traditions to a selection of tequilas and mezcals. The wine and beer program will offer a curated selection with wines from Mexico, Argentina, Chile, California, and New York along with a special collaboration with Hoboken Brewing Co — a Mexican lager brewed exclusively for the restaurant.

Once open at the mall, it will be located on the 4th floor.

It’s expected to open sometime in December.
