Rispoli’s, the Ridgefield bakery which began back in 1937, has announced their closing via social media.

The message is below:

All good things must come to an end… like the last bite of our lobster tail.

The good news is, you can still look forward to your next visit at Rispolis.

Our time at 824 Broad Avenue in Ridgefield has come to an end.

As sad as we are, we will continue to do what we do best; carry-on the 90 year old recipes of my great grandparents, Gabriele and Josephine.

As a fourth generation Rispoli, I promise to carry on with my crew: the legacy, the quality, and our award-winning products at our Emerson location.

Our Emerson location will now host the bakers from Ridgefield, along with many of the other familiar faces from the Ridgefield store.

Just as my grandparents, and great grandparents, had to trust that closing the West New York store was the right thing to do at the time, to evolve as they relocated to Ridgefield.

We are trusting that our loyal customers will continue to allow us to serve them at our Emerson location.

To all of our customers who have continued to support us and the Rispolis Legacy here at 824 Broad Avenue, we thank you!

Our Emerson location will be our forever home. Where we pray that through the grace of God, and the support of each and every one of you, we will continue to carry on our families traditions; of the finest Italian pastries, cookies, and cakes.

We look forward to seeing many familiar faces at those doors, along with new ones.

God always has a plan, and we are trusting in him as we navigate this new chapter, and say goodbye to this storefront; although we are not without heavy hearts.
