River & Henley, a new bar and restaurant, has opened in New Milford.

It has replaced the now shuttered Section 201, by the Cifelli family — bringing a “trendy new spot to enjoy good food, great drinks, live music, host events, parties” and more.

Joanne (the mom) owns academic child care center the Clifton Little School, while son Rocco operates The Hive Bar and Bistro in Garfield — they’ve also brought along daughters Sara and Amanda.

Described as “very home-y, family oriented, cozy yet grand, industrial and eclectic”, the food and drink is “very carefully prepared” to go along with a “the warm and friendly atmosphere and the lively, energetic night time scene.”

The style of cuisine is American bar food, offering items like tacos, salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches, pizza,  and more. The main focus will be dinner during the week and lunch and dinner on the weekends.

With approx 3000 square feet, it’s currently open seven days a week.
