It’s Pinsa, a new local pizzeria, has opened in Cliffside Park.

Specializing in the Roman pinsa – it was getting lots of play in the fall of 2017 according to Eater NY (Read Story) – a flatbread-style pizza that is completely vegan, has less gluten than typical pies and is stretched into an oval or oblong shape.

With a menu (View Menu) of pinsa crafted from their homemade dough, San Marzano tomatoes and fresh toppings – the dough is made from four flours and proofed for 72 hours with high hydration. There’s also salads, desserts, and coffee.

The shop is open seven days a week beginning at noon.
