New Menu at Bella Campania in Hillsdale

Bella Campania unveiled a completely revamped lunch and dinner menu for the 14-year-old restaurant. The menus feature eight new dishes that reflect Bella’s “modern and elevated” approach to traditional Italian cuisine.

“We are always looking to incorporate the freshest and best possible ingredients available each day,” said Chris Tarta, executive chef and owner of both Bella Campania and “due” restaurants. “Our new menus are an evolution on classic old world Italian dishes with a more modern approach and elevated level of presentation.”

Bella’s lunch menu (View Menu) now features an Italian Grilled Cheese that combines aged provolone, Bella’s mozzarella that is made daily by hand with a slice of Jersey fresh tomato, crispy prosciutto served on a sour dough roll from a local artisanal bakery. Also, new on the new lunch menu at Bella are Crispy Crab Cakes served with a fire roasted pepper aioli and garlic scented broccoli rabe.

Bella’s dinner menu (View Menu) now features a Garlic Lime Shrimp appetizer that is served with baby radish, citrus-red-pepper butter and an herb crostini. Littleneck Clams Italiano is a new appetizer that is served with sweet sausage, roma tomato in a white wine shellfish broth. Two of the new entrees on the new menu are a Hanger Steak served with caramelized brussel sprouts, sausage, baby Yukon golden potatoes in a Crabby’s ginger beer-siracha gastrique. Bella’s menu also features a Pan Roasted North Atlantic Salmon in a crimson beet yogurt sauce with artisan baby lettuces topped with toasted hazelnuts and served in a roasted shallot-thyme vinaigrette.

“I am very excited to share our new menu with our faithful customers and the new patrons it will attract,” said Bella Campania’s owner Chris Tarta. “We feel our new menus better reflect the evolution of Italian cuisine.”
