Opening Alert: New Shawarma Bar From Popular Bergen County Restaurant Team Opens

A new shawarma-focused restaurant from the team behind Mami has opened in Englewood.

Mamush Shawarma Bar is now open at 52 East Palisade Avenue, bringing a new concept from the owners of Mami, the Mediterranean restaurant that opened in Dumont last summer.

The new restaurant is described as Mami’s “little sister,” with a menu centered around shawarma served in a variety of formats, including pitas, wraps and bowls.

The concept comes from restaurateurs Inna and Elad Mashiach, whose hospitality background includes Brooklyn restaurants Reunion and Moabet.

Mamush marks another Bergen County venture for the team, expanding its presence beyond the original Mami restaurant at 15 East Madison Avenue in Dumont.
