New Haitian Fusion Restaurant Opening this Week in Rockland County
A new Haitian fusion restaurant and bar is opening this week in Rockland County, just over the North Jersey border.
1804 Fusion Resto & Bar is preparing to open at 145 Main Street in Nyack, taking over the space formerly occupied by Kantina Kita.
The restaurant will feature a menu combining traditional Haitian flavors with familiar dishes from around the world, incorporating spices, seasonings and ingredients native to Haiti.
According to the team, the concept was developed to present Haitian cuisine in a different way, with dishes such as tacos, pizza and French toast reimagined with a Haitian influence.
The restaurant describes its approach as taking recognizable dishes from different cuisines and infusing them with the distinctive flavors of Haiti.
