Lefkes has officially returned to Bergen County with a new location in Fort Lee.

Lefkes at The Modern is now open at 200 Park Avenue, taking over the former Ventanas restaurant space.

The opening comes several months after a devastating fire in June destroyed Lefkes’ original Englewood Cliffs location, leaving the restaurant without its longtime home.

Owner Georgia Dumas has partnered with restaurateur Alexander Duran on the new location, transforming the former Ventanas space with new murals, lighting, furniture and Mediterranean-inspired details.

The restaurant brings back the modern Greek cuisine and signature sushi previously served at Lefkes, along with its late-night entertainment and DJ-driven parties. Much of the former Ventanas team has also carried over to the new restaurant.

Lefkes at The Modern is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
