New Chocolate Boutique and Café Opens in Bergen County

A new chocolate boutique and café has opened in Bergen County.

Chocolada, also known as Chocolada Decadence Defined, is now open at 14 North Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus, offering a European-inspired café experience centered around artisan chocolates and cacao.

The concept describes itself as an upscale chocolate shop and café designed as an immersive “chocolate library,” with an emphasis on the craftsmanship and traditions of chocolate making.

The menu includes specialty cacao drinks, coffee, housemade cookies, gelato and café fare, including tartines served on cacao bread.

Chocolada also offers a curated selection of bean-to-bar chocolates, artisanal bonbons and small-batch confections sourced from chocolate makers in the United States and around the world.

The space is designed for both everyday café visits and chocolate-focused experiences, with plans for private gatherings and tasting events.
