A new halal Mediterranean restaurant has opened in Bergen County.

Platters Garden is now open at 48 West Pleasant Avenue in Maywood, offering a menu centered around customizable platters, wraps and bowls.

Guests can build their own platter with seasoned rice, vegetables and proteins including chicken, beef gyro, falafel, braised lamb and fish, along with a choice of sauces and toppings.

The menu also includes wraps, loaded fries, chicken wings, burgers and sandwiches, along with dishes such as chicken kabob and borani badenjan.

Platters Garden celebrated its grand opening earlier this month and is open seven days a week.
