Lefkes is officially returning to Bergen County with a new home in Fort Lee.

Lefkes at The Modern will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, October 9, taking over the former Ventanas space at 200 Park Avenue.

The opening comes several months after a devastating fire in June destroyed Lefkes’ original Englewood Cliffs location, leaving the restaurant without its longtime home.

Owner Georgia Dumas is now partnering with restaurateur Alexander Duran on the new location, transforming the former Ventanas space with new murals, lighting, furniture and Mediterranean-inspired details.

Guests can expect the modern Greek cuisine and signature sushi previously served at Lefkes, along with the concept’s late-night entertainment and DJ-driven parties.

Much of the Ventanas team will also carry over to the new restaurant.

Lefkes at The Modern will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
