Eleven Bergen County pizzas have landed on NJ.com’s newly released ranking of the 125 best pizzas in New Jersey for 2026 (View Full Story).

The annual list, compiled by NJ.com’s food team, expanded from 112 pizzas last year to 125 this year, including 16 new selections.

Pizzas were judged on taste, texture, originality and whether the reviewers would return for another slice, with only one pizza eligible from each pizzeria.

Bergen County’s highest-ranked entry came from Pizza Town USA in Elmwood Park at No. 15, where the cherry pepper pie was selected. The longtime Route 46 pizzeria has been serving customers since 1958, with NJ.com highlighting its crisp, well-seasoned pizza and cherry peppers as an underrated topping.

Aumm Aumm, which has locations in Englewood and North Bergen, landed at No. 25 for its Diavolina. The rectangular Neapolitan-style pie combines tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, Grana Padano and hot soppressata on a fluffy crust.

Several more Bergen County restaurants appeared in the middle of the ranking.

Osteria Italiana Ristorante Pizzeria in Garfield placed No. 61 for its Quattro Formaggi, while Casano’s Pizza Parlor in Rutherford came in at No. 63 for its Long Hot and Shallot pie. Vesta Wood Fired Pizza & Bar in East Rutherford ranked No. 74 for its Ready to Crumble pie, made with pork sausage, mozzarella, marinara, broccoli rabe, red pepper flakes and pecorino.

Kinchley’s Tavern in Ramsey ranked No. 80 for its plain pie, followed by Barcelona’s in Garfield at No. 90 for its plain pie and Pizza Land in North Arlington at No. 95 for its Specialty Pie.

Napoli Wood-Fired Pizza & Bakery in Cliffside Park came in at No. 104 for its Soppressata Pie, made with red onions, house-made mozzarella, soppressata, pecorino Romano and extra virgin olive oil.

Pompilio’s in Westwood ranked No. 121 for its Mashed Potato Pie, while Rose’s Pizza in Garfield rounded out Bergen County’s selections at No. 123 for its Sicilian Pie.
