A new shawarma-focused restaurant is coming soon to Bergen County.

Mamush Shawarma Bar is preparing to open at 52 East Palisade Avenue in Englewood, in the space formerly home to Fat Choy and The Wandering Que.

The new concept is being described as the “little sister” of nearby Mediterranean restaurant Mami.

Mami opened last summer in Cresskill, taking over the former Farmhouse space.

The restaurateurs Inna and Elad Mashiach, are also the team behind Reunion and Moabet in Brooklyn.

While a full menu for Mamush has not yet been announced, the concept will center around shawarma, with its website indicating options served in a pita, wrap or bowl.

The restaurant is currently collecting signups for opening updates, kitchen previews and an upcoming friends and family night.

An opening date has not yet been announced.
