A new season is bringing another round of restaurant openings to Bergen County, with several notable projects expected to make their debuts this fall.

From established restaurant names expanding into new towns to entirely new concepts, here are four openings we’re keeping an eye on.

Serafina — Tenafly – Serafina is preparing to open in downtown Tenafly, bringing the well-known Italian restaurant brand to Bergen County. The restaurant has been taking shape with Serafina’s signature yellow branding now prominently displayed outside the space.

Il Vero — Westwood – Il Vero is another restaurant expected to join Bergen County’s dining scene this fall, with the new concept preparing to open in Westwood. The restaurant features a contemporary dining room with deep blue finishes, gold accents and an upscale aesthetic.

Choir Practice — Dumont – One of the more intriguing new concepts headed to Bergen County is Choir Practice in Dumont. The restaurant and bar has been taking shape inside a distinctive space featuring dramatic architectural details, including an ornate stained-glass ceiling fixture.

Azul — Hackensack – Azul is also among the new restaurants preparing to open in Hackensack. The contemporary space features a dramatic interior centered around a large illuminated moon installation, along with a mezzanine overlooking the main dining room.

Opening timelines can always change as restaurants work through the final stages of construction, inspections and preparation, but all four are projects to watch as Bergen County heads into the fall dining season.
