Three Bergen County delis have landed among the best Jewish delis in New Jersey, according to a new ranking from NJ.com (Read Full Story).

The publication ranked 15 Jewish delis across the state for 2026, with Bergen and Essex counties among the areas particularly well represented. The list includes both strictly kosher establishments and restaurants serving broader Jewish deli-style cuisine.

Leading the Bergen County selections at #4 is Foster Village Kosher Delicatessen in Bergenfield (Website). They highlighted its pastrami, whitefish salad and baked potato knish, with the latter singled out as one of the most memorable dishes from the visit.

At #6 is Kosher Nosh Deli in Glen Rock (Website), a Bergen County staple dating back to 1976. The ranking noted its oversized sandwiches while giving particular attention to the sides, including matzo ball soup, potato latkes, potato pierogi, chopped liver and sweet kugel.

Rounding out the Bergen County restaurants at #15 is Noah’s Ark in Teaneck (Website). Open since 1988, the kosher deli offers a wide-ranging menu that includes pastrami, corned beef and brisket sandwiches alongside salads, steak, fried chicken, fish and burgers, with NJ.com specifically highlighting the brisket egg rolls.

The three Bergen County restaurants account for one-fifth of NJ.com’s 15 selections statewide.
