Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao has officially opened its first Bergen County location.

The Chinese restaurant is now open on Level 3 of American Dream in East Rutherford, continuing its expansion in New Jersey alongside a newly opened location in South Plainfield.

Founded in Flushing, Queens in 2006, Nan Xiang is known for its handcrafted Xiao Long Bao and Shanghainese cuisine. The restaurant was recommended by the Michelin Guide for nine consecutive years.

The American Dream location features a show kitchen where guests can watch chefs mix, roll, fill and hand-pleat soup dumplings before they are steamed to order.

Beyond its signature soup dumplings, the menu includes noodles, wok-fired dishes, pan-fried pork buns, scallion pancakes, dim sum, vegetarian options, traditional Chinese breakfast dishes and fruit teas.

The openings are part of a broader national expansion for Nan Xiang, with the brand targeting additional markets throughout the Northeast, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
