According to the ranking, The Original Pancake House was also the only chain restaurant to make the statewide list.

The concept operates three New Jersey locations, including its Bergen County restaurant in Edgewater, along with locations in West Caldwell and Metuchen.

Rather than a traditional stack, the Dutch Baby is baked in the oven, creating a light, puffy pancake that deflates after baking before being finished with its toppings.

NJ.com’s 2026 ranking featured 23 pancake dishes from restaurants and diners throughout the Garden State.
