A popular Passaic County bagel shop has officially expanded into Bergen County with the opening of a new location in Carlstadt.

Carlos Bagel Shop is now serving customers at 312 Hackensack Street, marking the company’s second location. The original shop is located in Hawthorne.

Founded by Carlos, who immigrated from Colombia in 1997, the family-owned business has grown from decades of bagel-making experience.

Today, Carlos and his daughter, Juliana, operate the shops with a focus on hand-rolled bagels, quality ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere.

According to the business, its mission is to reinvent the bagel experience by serving handcrafted bagels while continuously striving to exceed customer expectations.

Carlos Hand-Rolled Bagel Shop is now open seven days a week and also offers catering for a variety of events.
