A Mediterranean restaurant with roots in Wisconsin is preparing to expand to New Jersey.

Kebabé Mediterranean Cuisine has announced plans to open its second location at 548 Grand Avenue in Englewood, bringing its menu of Mediterranean and Turkish-inspired dishes to Bergen County.

The restaurant’s original location opened in Madison, Wisconsin, where it serves freshly prepared halal cuisine centered around grilled kebabs, rice platters, wraps, salads and house-made sides.

According to the owners, the Englewood restaurant will feature fresh off-the-grill kebabs, authentic Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine, family meals, grab-and-go options, catering services and ingredients prepared daily.

The team says it has spent months planning and building the new restaurant and will share construction updates and a grand opening date as work progresses.
