A new neighborhood coffee shop has officially opened its doors in Bergen County.

Alteo Caffe is now welcoming customers at 252B Park Avenue in East Rutherford, serving coffee, espresso drinks and fresh pastries from a completely renovated space.

Before opening, the owners shared a behind-the-scenes look at the transformation, taking the former café from a dated interior to a modern space featuring marble finishes, wood accents, updated lighting and a redesigned coffee bar.

According to the café, Alteo Caffe was created with a focus on “crafting exceptional coffee, fresh pastries, and memorable moments,” offering a welcoming destination for everything from a morning coffee to an evening meetup.

The café is currently open daily from 6:30am to 10:00m
