A popular North Jersey Greek restaurant is preparing to expand with a second Bergen County location.

Jersey Gyros has announced plans to open in Ramsey, marking the brand’s second restaurant after launching its original Lodi location in the summer of 2022.

Founded as a first-generation, family-owned business, Jersey Gyros has built a loyal following for its authentic Greek cuisine and is especially known as the “Home of the Pork Gyro.”

The restaurant serves a menu of traditional Mediterranean favorites, including pork, chicken and lamb gyros, souvlaki, spanakopita, Greek-style fries and rotating homemade desserts.

According to the restaurant, its mission is to bring authentic Greek flavors to North Jersey while offering a welcoming neighborhood dining experience.

Guests can order everything from classic pita sandwiches to platters and appetizers, with many signature gyros topped with hand-cut fries.

The Lodi shop was named to the Top 50 Places to Eat in North Jersey for 2023 by Yelp (Read Now)
