Burst Beans Coffee Coming Soon to Hackensack

A specialty coffee brand focused on mindfulness and self-care is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar café in Bergen County.

Burst Beans Coffee is getting ready to debut its flagship location at 95 Anderson Street in Hackensack, bringing what the company calls “The Mindful Coffee Experience” to downtown.

Founded in 2022 as an online specialty coffee brand, Burst Beans Coffee was created with a mission to help people “slow down, be intentional, and prioritize self-care one cup at a time.”

The upcoming café marks the company’s first physical location.

The shop will serve specialty-grade coffee that is roasted in small batches and roasted to order, with an emphasis on quality, wellness and community.

According to the company, its coffee is non-GMO, pesticide-free, and each bag includes positive affirmations designed to encourage mindfulness.

Burst Beans also donates a portion of every sale to Mental Health America, supporting the organization’s efforts to promote mental health awareness and wellbeing.

As the opening approaches, the company has begun hiring baristas, describing the café as a place where “community, mindfulness, and exceptional coffee come together.”

The team says it’s looking for people who believe coffee is about more than what’s in the cup and who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

An official opening date has not yet been announced.
