Bergen County Native Launches Single Ingredient Maple Water

A Bergen County entrepreneur is bringing a new wellness beverage to store shelves.

Founded by an Englewood native, Ample Hydration (Website) has officially launched its flagship product and beginning its retail rollout: a canned pure maple water made with just one ingredient.

Unlike maple syrup, maple water is the naturally occurring sap that flows through maple trees before it’s boiled down.

According to the company, the beverage contains approximately 98% water and 2% naturally occurring sugars, while also providing naturally occurring electrolytes and minerals such as potassium, calcium and manganese.

The company is positioning Ample as a clean-label alternative in the growing hydration category.

Each 12-ounce can contains about 35 calories, roughly 8 grams of naturally occurring sugar, and no added sugar, with the ingredient list consisting solely of organic maple water.

Ample says the product is designed for consumers looking for simple ingredients and everyday hydration.

The beverage is sourced and produced in the United States and is recommended to be enjoyed chilled.

For those interested in trying it locally, Healthway Natural Foods in Tenafly is among the first retailers carrying the product as the brand expands its footprint throughout the region.
