A popular Central Jersey wine bar concept appears to be headed to Bergen County.

VintEdge Wine Bar + Kitchen is planning a second location at 9 Polito Avenue in Lyndhurst, bringing its wine-focused concept to the growing mixed-use development surrounding the former Manhattan Pharmaceuticals campus.

The concept currently operates in Somerville, where it combines an extensive wine program with small plates, cocktails and a modern lounge atmosphere. Guests can enjoy wines by the glass or bottle, private tasting experiences and a menu designed for sharing.

According to the company, VintEdge was created as a gathering place centered around great wine, elevated beverages and approachable food in a contemporary setting. The Somerville location also features connections to a retail wine and spirits store, allowing guests to purchase bottles to enjoy at home.

While details on the Lyndhurst location remain limited, signage has appeared on-site and the project is expected to bring the brand’s upscale wine bar experience to Bergen County for the first time.

Notably, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is also expected to join the Lyndhurst development, adding another high-profile dining destination to the property.

No opening date has been announced.
