A growing New Jersey coffee brand has officially opened its newest location in Bergen County.

Almost Home General has debuted in downtown Hackensack, marking another milestone for the rapidly expanding specialty coffee company founded by Robbie Doran.

Doran opened the first Almost Home location in Lincroft in 2021. Since then, the brand has steadily expanded throughout New Jersey, adding locations in Oceanport, Sea Bright, Atlantic Highlands, and Westwood, along with coffee carts at the Belford Ferry Terminal and Hudson House in Jersey City.

Known for its approachable coffee program and rotating seasonal offerings, Almost Home has built a loyal following around drinks like its smoked maple latte, smoked s’mores latte, old-fashioned cold brew, and carefully crafted pour-over coffees.

The shops also offer a selection of pastries and baked goods designed to pair with the beverage menu.

It’s currently open seven days a week.
