After several years on the road, one of North Jersey’s most recognizable food trucks has officially put down roots.

The Greece Truck, which has been serving customers since 2022, has announced a permanent location at the corner of Chubb Avenue and Valley Brook Avenue in Lyndhurst.

The truck is now operating from the site Monday through Saturday, giving fans a consistent place to find its signature menu of New Jersey street food favorites.

Known for its slogan, “We Are Happy To Feed You,” The Greece Truck combines classic Garden State food truck culture with the owners’ Greek heritage.

The concept draws inspiration from New Jersey’s legendary grease trucks, street-corner hot dog carts, and old-school diners, creating a menu filled with hot dogs, gyros, sandwiches, and rotating specialties.

According to the owners, the business traces its roots to a family history that began when their grandparents immigrated from Greece through Ellis Island and later built a life in Hoboken. That legacy, combined with a love of New Jersey food culture, helped shape the concept when the truck first launched in 2022.

In addition to daily service, The Greece Truck also offers catering for private parties, corporate events, film productions, sporting events, and other gatherings throughout North Jersey.

The new permanent location provides access from Routes 3 and 17 as well as the New Jersey Turnpike.
