Opening Alert: Faba, South Hackensack, NJ

A new Mediterranean and Middle Eastern eatery has officially opened in South Hackensack.

FABA is now serving at 69 Wesley Street, bringing a menu centered around thin Armenian-style sâj flatbreads, house-made mezze, spreads, salads, and sweets inspired by Armenian and Lebanese flavors.

The concept focuses on scratch-made recipes and baked-thin flatbreads topped with options like lentil & herb, spicy lentil & herb, falafel, red pepper & walnut, and white cheese & za’atar.

Guests can also expect a variety of mezze dishes including shepherd salad, stewed eggplant & tomato, seasoned labneh yogurt, power greens & beets, and other Mediterranean-inspired sides.

FABA describes the concept as “deep roots, baked thin,” with a menu built around warm, earthy flavors and house-made ingredients.

The restaurant is located next to Urban Air and currently offers pickup and delivery throughout much of Bergen County and nearby North Jersey towns.
