Shinjuku Station is Coming to Clifton
A fast-growing revolving sushi concept is preparing to open another New Jersey location.
Shinjuku Station is coming soon to The Promenade Shops at Clifton, located at 850 Route 3 in Clifton.
The restaurant is known for its all-you-can-eat revolving sushi bar concept, where guests can enjoy a continuous rotation of sushi and small plates delivered directly via conveyor belt-style dining.
The upcoming Clifton location will join existing New Jersey outposts in South Plainfield and Springfield as the brand continues expanding throughout the state.
According to the company, Shinjuku was created to “redefine sushi dining,” combining traditional sushi offerings with a more modern, technology-driven experience. In addition to the revolving sushi system, the concept also incorporates app-based ordering and interactive dining elements designed to create a more fast-paced and social atmosphere.
The menu focuses on fresh sushi, rolls, and Japanese-inspired dishes, with the company emphasizing freshness, convenience, and accessibility through its all-you-can-eat format.
Brand materials describe the restaurant as inspired by the energy of Tokyo nightlife, with a dining experience centered around “bold flavors, innovative dining experiences, and the perfect blend of tradition and cutting-edge technology.”
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, signage and promotional materials for the Clifton location have begun appearing ahead of launch.
