Popular Lobster Chain Rolling into Ridgewood Next Week

A fast-growing lobster roll chain known for its New England-style seafood is preparing to open in Bergen County next week.

Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls is set to open on May 20 at 111 E Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood, marking the brand’s second New Jersey location and first in Bergen County.

Founded in Annapolis in 2014, Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls has expanded into one of the country’s largest brick-and-mortar lobster roll chains, focusing on traditional Maine-style seafood offerings and quality sourcing.

The concept is best known for its lobster rolls, including both Maine and Connecticut-style preparations, along with lobster salad rolls, lobster BLTs, shrimp rolls, and crab rolls.

The menu also includes New England clam chowder, lobster bisque, lobster mac & cheese, salads, and other seafood-focused dishes inspired by coastal New England dining.

The Ridgewood location is owned by longtime New Jersey resident Charito Dizon, who says the concept was inspired by a longtime love of New England seafood and the desire to bring those flavors closer to home.

The restaurant is expected to operate seven days a week from 11:00am to 9:00pm.
