A new Indian restaurant focused on authentic flavors and traditional hospitality is preparing to open in East Rutherford.

Aahar: Soul of India is coming soon to 132 Park Avenue, bringing a menu centered around regional Indian cuisine, fresh ingredients, and classic recipes served in a warm, welcoming setting.

According to the team behind the restaurant, the goal is to create a neighborhood destination where guests can experience “the true soul of Indian cuisine” through both food and hospitality.

The upcoming restaurant will offer a variety of Indian dishes including curries, biryanis, fresh naan, tandoori specialties, vegetarian options, and appetizers inspired by different regions throughout India.

The kitchen will be led by chefs with more than 12 years of experience specializing in traditional Indian cooking.

Ownership says the concept was created out of a passion for Indian food and restaurant hospitality, with a focus on creating a comfortable dine-in atmosphere alongside high-quality cuisine.

Aahar: Soul of India will operate as a BYOB restaurant with approximately 1,050-square-foot space.

An official opening date has not yet been announced.
