A longtime Rockland County restaurant is entering a new chapter under new ownership.

The former Sutter’s Mill, which originally opened in 1983, is being reintroduced as The Mill at Sutter’s, a new sports bar and restaurant concept in Airmont.

Located at 214 Route 59, the space has undergone a full renovation and will reopen with an updated menu, a new tap system, and a bar program including a large selection of specialty cocktails.

The concept is positioned as a full-service sports bar with an emphasis on food, drinks, and entertainment, including plans for live music and a late-night menu.

According to the website, “The Mill at Sutter’s is a full-service sports bar and restaurant in Airmont, NY, located on Route 59.

Designed for great food, craft cocktails, live music, and game-day energy, The Mill brings together a lively atmosphere with a more elevated bar experience.”

The restaurant is scheduled to open on Friday, May 1.
