Coach House Closing After Forty Plus Years in Hackensack

A Bergen County diner has closed after more than four decades in operation.

Coach House Restaurant & Diner in Hackensack has permanently closed, with its final day of service taking place today.

The restaurant first opened in 1983 and operated for 43 years along Route 4.

The diner functioned as a 24-hour establishment, offering a full menu of made-to-order dishes, a full bar and on-site parking.

According to its website, the restaurant emphasized consistent service, generous portions, and a traditional diner setting.

A sale of the property was done by JC Kapas Real Estate.
