A new pasta concept has officially opened in Bergen County.

Massa Pasta is now open in Tenafly at 33 Washington Street, offering a neighborhood-focused concept centered around artisan, handcrafted pasta made fresh daily.

The restaurant is led by chef and owner Yosif alongside his wife Sesil, operating as a hands-on, family-run business. Yosif, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, brings formal culinary training and experience shaped by Mediterranean influences tied to his Greek and Italian heritage.

The menu focuses on house-made pasta produced daily using high-quality semolina and 00 flour, with a selection of shapes and sauces prepared from scratch in small batches. In addition to traditional offerings, the restaurant also features a gluten-free pasta option.

The space functions as both a casual dine-in spot and a retail pasta shop, allowing guests to enjoy meals on-site or take fresh pasta and sauces home.

Massa Pasta is currently open six days a week and closed on Tuesdays.
