A globally recognized specialty coffee brand appears to be on its way to Bergen County.

Blue Bottle Coffee is coming soon to Garden State Plaza in Paramus, with signage now up inside the mall. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the location is expected to mark the brand’s first in New Jersey.

Founded as a specialty coffee roaster, Blue Bottle has built a reputation around high-quality sourcing, precision roasting, and a minimalist café experience focused on the craft of coffee.

The company emphasizes sourcing beans that exceed specialty-grade standards, often working directly with producers and maintaining long-term relationships to ensure quality and traceability. Many of its coffees are certified organic, with a focus on sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.

Each coffee is roasted to highlight its unique profile, with an emphasis on freshness, balance, and clarity of flavor—whether in blends or single-origin offerings.

Once open, the Paramus location will bring Blue Bottle’s refined approach to coffee to one of New Jersey’s busiest retail destinations.
