85°C Bakery Cafe is Coming to Lodi
A globally recognized bakery café chain is preparing to make its way to Bergen County.
85°C Bakery Cafe is coming soon to Lodi, with signage up and construction underway at 2 Memorial Drive. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the internationally known concept is steadily working toward its debut.
Founded in 2003, 85°C Bakery Cafe was created with a simple idea: offer premium coffee, breads, and cakes at accessible prices. What began as a single concept has since grown into a worldwide brand with more than 1,000 locations, including a strong presence across the United States.
The café is known for its wide-ranging menu, featuring individually brewed coffee made with Guatemalan beans, handcrafted drinks, and an in-store bakery offering more than 50 varieties of pastries baked fresh throughout the day. The concept also includes a selection of cakes and desserts crafted by trained pastry chefs, combining traditional techniques with modern flavors.
The name “85°C” references the ideal brewing temperature for espresso—reflecting the brand’s focus on precision and quality across its coffee and bakery programs.
Once open, the Lodi location will bring the brand’s signature mix of coffee, pastries, and desserts to Bergen County, adding another option for casual café-style dining.
No opening date has been announced at this time.
