Dillery is Coming Soon to East Rutherford

A Bergen County favorite born during the pandemic is entering its next chapter.

Plated by D, the charcuterie-driven concept launched by owner Dylan Elias, is officially transitioning into a full-fledged sandwich shop called Dillery in East Rutherford.

The move marks a shift from its Hackensack location, which will close as the brand “revamps into something bigger, bolder, and brinier,” according to a recent announcement.

Elias first started Plated by D during the height of COVID-19, building a following through thoughtfully arranged charcuterie boards that blended quality ingredients with a creative, modern edge.

What began as a pandemic-era pivot quickly grew into a recognizable local name, known for detailed presentation and bold flavor combinations.

Now, the concept is narrowing its focus and leaning fully into specialty sandwiches with Italian and French inspiration—with a signature pickle-forward twist woven throughout parts of the menu. The team promises the same quality and creativity customers have come to expect, just in a new format: a new location, a new vibe, and an entirely new menu.

While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the brand has hinted at preview tastings ahead of launch.
