Dumpling Dojo is preparing to open its next location in Hackensack, expanding beyond its original Rutherford outpost.

The new restaurant, slated for 2026, will offer dine-in seating along with pickup and delivery, giving guests more space to enjoy the brand’s signature dumplings.

Dumpling Dojo first built a following in Rutherford as an Asian fusion destination known for a focused yet varied menu centered on dumplings and small plates.

The menu is expected to include dumplings, buns, wontons, ravioli, bowls, and other shareable dishes, continuing the concept that has defined the original location.

The Hackensack opening will mark the next chapter for the independently owned brand as it brings its “same legendary dumplings” to a larger footprint.

No word yet on an opening date.
