A new food truck concept is preparing to launch in Teaneck, with Hooked & Hungry set to debut in January 2026.

The project is the result of a partnership between two longtime friends, blending Puerto Rican flavors with halal principles and Middle Eastern influences in a street-food format.

The most recent menu can be seen below.

According to the team, the truck grew from an early design concept into a fully realized operation.

Led by a chef with formal culinary training from Johnson & Wales and professional experience across New Jersey’s golf club scene.

Hooked & Hungry plans to operate throughout Teaneck with rotating weekly locations, participate in events across New Jersey.

Once operating, they’ll and offer delivery, with their schedules and updates shared on social media.

No word yet on an opening date.
